Allen Company Recoil Eraser Slip-On Shooting Recoil Pad, Black, Medium

I’m truly amazed at the effectiveness of this pad to reduce recoil. The first time I tried it, I’d forgotten about the issue I’d been having with recoil (it was really harsh with my .308 FN-FAL) and then it struck me, “I don’t feel it at all!”. The thing I’d like to ask the company to do is to put a better guide for sizing on their packaging. I had to guess what size to use based on what I’d seen other people say in various forums for other products. I went with a small, which is a pretty snug fit on my rifle, but it works. I’m not sure how long the rubber on this one will last, if it will eventually crack from the strain of being stretched over my buttstock, but for the price it’s done the job for sure and I wouldn’t mind having to buy another one in a couple of years, though I’m probably going to try and get a custom fit Kick-Eez.
